Houston, March 23, 2017 — University of Houston Dining Services has announced it will open a new food truck pad next to Calhoun Lofts beginning Monday, March 27.

The new pad will be between Calhoun Lofts and the Multi-Disciplinary Research and Engineering Building. It will host two to four food trucks Monday through Friday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The pad will replace those that had been located at the Valenti School of Communications and Cemo Hall.

"Our goal is to host one pad that is conveniently located," said Taushah Crawford, manager of the UH Dining food truck program. "The Calhoun Lofts site is not only easy for students on that side of campus to visit, but our food trucks will also benefit from seeing more traffic during their shifts."

A food truck schedule for all locations is available online.
