EHLS Thanks Safety Specialist Isaac Gonzales for his Service

safety specialist

Houston, April 2, 2018 —Environmental Health and Life Safety's Isaac Gonzales is leaving the University of Houston. His last day will be April 6.

Gonzales, a safety specialist, has decided to pursue other career opportunities.

He has served in the radiation safety section of the EHLS department for the past few years, supporting researchers who use radioactive materials, x-ray machines and regulated lasers. His services assist with the safe conduct of research and helps the University maintain compliance with federal and state rules.

"We were very fortunate to have him. He has contributed immensely to various improvement projects that will benefit the department even when he is gone," Manager Otu Inyang said.

Environmental Health and Life Safety wants to thank Gonzales for his service to the University of Houston.
