UH Arts open house planned

On Thursday, Oct. 18, from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Arts District of campus, all of the arts departments at the University of Houston will come together for a day of collaboration and exploration at the fourth annual UH Arts Open House.

Not only will each department be showcasing their best and brightest, but there will be plenty of interactive games, events and projects. We encourage each and every person to stop by, get some free food and drinks, make some art, and enjoy some art.

Involved in the festivities will be:

� Blaffer Art Museum
� Creative Writing Program
� Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts
� Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture
� Moores School of Music
� School of Art
� School of Theatre & Dance
� UH Public Art Collection

And we have a great line up of activities, including:

� Free food and drinks
� Improv comedy
� Live screen printing (get a free T-shirt)
� Live music from the Men of Moores, Bob�s Your Uncle, MSM Jazz Sextet, Two MSM Clarinet Quartets, and more
� Poetry buskers
� Mask making (Halloween is just around the corner)
� Library Lounge featuring books, music, and more from UH faculty and staff
� Cougar trading cards
� Dancing
� Mural painting
� Scavenger hunt
� Raffle prizes
