UH Victoria Opens First Residential Dining Hall

The University of Houston - Victoria campus opened its first residential dining hall on Monday, September 20, 2010 in Jaguar Hall to accommodate the very first class of residential students. Jaguar Hall is the only residential hall on campus and houses 187 students.

The dining hall, Real Food on Campus (RFoC), is an all-you-care-to-eat facility complete with a full salad bar, breakfast options including waffles, hot breakfast and cereal, and a full lunch and dinner menu with vegetarian options at all times. Diners can choose from several stations of food where the menu changes each day and are allowed to return to the lines as often as they please.

We at ARAMARK UH Dining Services are proud and excited to expand our realm of services to the UHV campus, said Tony Urso, general manager of dining services. We are confident we will supply delicious, healthy meals to the students, faculty and staff of University of Houston - Victoria.

Dining staff served 241 meals on opening day. The flat rate for entrance is $6.50, $7, and $7.50 for breakfast, lunch and dinner respectively. Students, faculty and staff can also purchase meal plans to eat at the dining hall for a discounted rate.
