Printing Allowance for Employees

Faculty and Staff at the University of Houston have recently been afforded a printing allowance by the UH Libraries, much like the allowance currently available to students.

The program began this fall for all employees paid through the UH payroll system. Temporary employees are not eligible for this program.

The credit is renewed each semester and any unused credit is not carried over.

This printing and photocopying allowance can only be used at the computer labs in M.D. Anderson Library, the Music Library, the Optometry Library, and the Architecture and Art Library on campus. Many computer stations and photocopiers are available with black and white or color options, and can be used for business or personal use.

�It�s been a long time coming,� said Deborah Marks, Manager of the Cougar Card Office. �The library is excited about it, and we�re excited too.�
