Join the EcoReps

The University of Houston is going green and we need your help to spread the word about the exciting sustainable programs on campus.

EcoReps is a volunteer group consisting of students, staff, and faculty that promote green initiatives on campus and help develop educational programs for the UH community.

EcoReps will:

Raise environmental awareness on campus by promoting green programs, services and events by emailing friends, posting on Facebook, using Twitter and other forms of media.

Promote energy and waste minimization in their colleges, departments and to co-workers and peers.

Be involved in the planning and the executing of green events on campus.

Assist in educating the UH community about its environmental efforts.

Provide feedback to Green UH about sustainable practices in their departments/organizations/colleges/residence halls.

Inform GreenUH of areas where green programs could expand.

Inform GreenUH when they see recycling bins that are full or when they notice areas that don't have sufficient recycling services.
