PIZZA WITH PARKING RETURNS TO SHARE SOLUTIONS WITH UH COMMUNITY

Parking and Transportation Services is treating students, faculty and staff to lunch during its second Pizza with Parking information session on Tuesday, November 15. From 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the UH community is invited attend the presentation and Q&A session in order to get an inside look at parking strategies and solutions.

P&T decided to host a second Pizza with Parking after last years presentation was well received and highly anticipated. Many members of the UH community have shown an interest in gaining knowledge about their parking and transportation options as well as to hear about plans in the works to fix current parking challenges on campus. Pizza with Parking is moving to Rockwell Pavilion in the MD Anderson Library this year, a much larger venue than last years event. Also, attendance will be open to general admission with no RSVP required. Pizza and beverages will be provided to all participants.

Last years event gave us a chance to inform the campus of how Parking and Transportation works, said Eric Holamon, Customer Service Manager for Parking and Transportation Services. This year we hope to help people understand the options available to them and what we are doing to help the parking situation on campus going forward.

Directly following the presentation, the floor will be opened up to the participants for a Q&A session. Everyone is invited to take this opportunity to get answers and gain first-hand knowledge about steps being made to improve current challenges.
