Getting help with a facilities issue is just a text message away

It is now possible to report a facilities issue or concern at the University of Houston by sending a text message.

The Facilities Service Center is able to receive and process text messages from customers who need to report a facilities-related issue. Text messaging can be used for reporting many situations, such as a room being too hot or too cold, plumbing leaks, broken windows, an inoperative handicap automatic door opener, and pest-control issues like mosquitos, bees and wasps. Facilities-related questions can also be sent by text.

So the next time someone needs to report a building or classroom that is too hot or too cold, all they have to do is send a text a message to the Facilities Service Center - 24 hours a day, seven days a week - to csc@central.uh.edu.
