UH Dining seeking feedback through 'Your Voice Counts' program

University of Houston Dining Services invites students, faculty and staff to participate in a new program, "Your Voice Counts," which is geared toward collecting real-time, ongoing feedback from its customers.  The new initiative measures UH Dining's value, service and quality.

Customers are able to provide feedback by completing a survey on their computer or mobile device. The survey takes less than six minutes to complete and asks a variety of questions about their most recent dining experience. Everyone who completes a survey is entered into a  drawing for a chance to win $1,000.

"The data we collect from these surveys is important because, unlike our annual DiningStyles survey, it gives us a continual picture of our performance," said Amber Arguijo, UH Dining's marketing manager. "The annual survey works well to give us an overview of our performance over the past year, but the 'Your Voice Counts' program allows us to make sure that we are putting our best forward each and every day. It also allows us to instantly recognize our star employees and correct customer issues so that all guests have the best experience possible."

The new initiative will also allow management to build programs and menus that better reflect customers' tastes and needs, anticipate future trends, fix problems right away, and recognize employees who provide world class service.
