Finals Mania provides break for students

Nearly 1,700 people lined up for a stack of pancakes and turkey sausage at the M.D. Anderson Library the night of Dec. 10.

The two-and-a half-hour event, known as Finals Mania, takes place at the end of the fall and spring semesters to give students a much-needed break as they study for their final exams.

It kicked off with members of the UH marching band performing several songs from the second-floor balcony. After that, the serving began, with help from dozens of volunteers.
