Applications are being accepted for the 2009-2010 Undergraduate Research Travel Fellowship Program. Faculty mentors should encourage their undergraduate researchers to apply. At the time of application for the Travel Award, students should have already submitted an abstract for presentation at a national or international conference. Twenty-three pilot projects have been selected for implementation in 2009. The program supports faculty efforts to enhance existing undergraduate courses or develop new courses that incorporate inquiry-based pedagogy or research practicum training.
