Welcome to the 2017 Fall Semester! The College of Nursing theme for this year is “Collaboration.” Collaboration among individuals and communities; clinically, in research, in education, and service, by caring for our patients and community, especially in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. You are invited to view and share the College of Nursing video that brings you a glimpse of what it is like in the College of Nursing for our faculty, staff, donors, health care providers, global partners and most importantly, our students. We are so proud of our students achieving 100% NCLEX-RN pass rates for three years in a row, placing us in the top 5% of the nation. We are particularly proud of the first three classes of Family Nurse Practitioner graduates who have achieved 100% national certification first time pass-rates for three years in a row. We know that this kind of outcome only happens through strong inter-professional collaboration and partnerships to advance scholarship, research, leadership and service in meaningful ways that support the mission and values of the College. College of Nursing staff and faculty have shown their commitment to collaboration by winning first place with 100% participation in the “Here We Go” campaign at UH. It takes all of us.Go COOGS!!
