Barry Craver [ bcraver@uh.edu ]

Barry Craver completed his MSEE at the University of Houston in 2004. He is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with research in the field of nanofabrication.

Chunsheng E [ Chunsheng.E@mail.uh.edu ]
Chunsheng E received his B.S. in Thermal Engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China in 1998. He followed this by completing an M.S. in Thermal Engineering with the thesis "Modeling and Optimization of Boilers in Large Scale Power Plants." A second M.S. was earned from the University of Massachusetts in Mechanical Engineering and he is now working on his M.S./Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. His research focuses on perpendicular magnetic recording technology.

Gyu Leem [ gyuleem@hotmail.com ]

Gyu Leem earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering at the Hanyang University in Seoul, Korea in 2002. He joined Dr. Lee's resarch group in the Chemistry Department at University of Houston in Fall 2003. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemistry. The focus of his research is on  chemical preparation and self-assembly of metal nanoparticles for information storage.

Divya Namuduri [ Divya.Namuduri@mail.uh.edu ]
Divya completed her B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India in 2005 andI joined the Chemical Engineering Department at University of Houston in August, 2005. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. Chemical Engineering working on protective overlayers for nanomagnetic sensor arrays under the joint guidance of Dr. Dmitri Litvinov and Dr. Richard Willson.

Vishal Parekh [ Vishal.Parekh@mail.uh.edu ]
Vishal Parekh completed his B.E. from Bombay, India in 2002 and immediately began work on an MSEE at the University of Houston. He earned his M.S.E.E. in 2004 with the thesis "Reliability of Thermally Grown SiO2 on SiC". He is now persuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with research in the field of nanomagnetics.

Darren Smith [ dsmith5@uh.edu ]
Darren Smith earned his B.S. with Honors in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston in 2005. His thesis was entitled "Design Considerations for a Patterned Perpendicular Recording Media" and is now working towards a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with research in the field of high density storage systems utilizing perpendicular recording and nanomagnetic biosensors.

Shishan Zhang [ szhang4@mail.uh.edu ]

Shishan Zhang received his B.E. in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China in 1998,  and M.E. from National University of Singapore in 2001. He is pursuing his PhD in Chemical Engineering under the advising of Dr T. R. Lee. His current research topic is self-assembly and immobilization of nanoparticles into complex structures.
