Volunteers Needed for UH-METRO Full-Scale Exercise

Houston, April 17, 2015 — The Metropolitan Transit Authority will conduct a full-scale exercise of the new MetroRail line adjacent to the UH campus.

Volunteers are needed to serve as fans and "evacuees" from TDECU Stadium in order to test portions of the stadium evacuation plans. The first 250 people to sign up will receive a free T-shirt.

The exercise will take place Saturday, May 2. Report time is 8 a.m. and it should be completed by 11 a.m. Registration that morning will take place at Gate 1, located to the right of the main ticket office at the stadium.

Those who are interested in volunteering should sign up by emailing Kaitlin Johnson at Kaitlin.johnson@entertainhouston.com by Monday, April 27. She will provide additional details to those who sign up.
