NACAS Selects Dr. Emily Messa to Serve on Planning Committee

Houston, May 15, 2018 - The National Association of College Auxiliary Services has appointed Associate Vice Chancellor/Associate Vice President for Administration Dr. Emily Messa to the 2019 NACAS C3X Committee.

As a committee member, Messa will play a crucial role in representing the professional trade association's membership as the annual national event is planned and organized.

Her duties will include participating in monthly committee conference calls, attending a planning meeting this summer in Phoenix, and attending this year's C3X event, which takes place Oct. 14-17 in Orlando.

NACAS, which supports the non-academic segment of higher education responsible for generating business through an array of different campus services that serve students, holds its annual conference and expo every fall.

A number of individuals at UH overseeing programs like Dining Services, Parking and Transportation, the Cougar Card office and the UH Bookstore participate as active members of NACAS, often presenting at national and regional conferences and sharing best practices through educational workshops and webinars.
