Be Ready by Having an Emergency Supply List

Houston, March 12, 2014 - The University of Houston Emergency Management Bureau encourages everyone to review their emergency supplies at home.

The reminder comes in the wake of National Severe Weather Preparedness Week, which was March 2-8.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency offers an emergency supply checklist on its website. The UH Emergency Management Bureau also has a 72-hour emergency campus/travel preparedness checklist.

People should develop an emergency plan based on their current local weather hazards and also practice the plan.
