Annual DPS Chili Cook Off
The University of Houston Department
of Public Safety had its annual
Chili Cook-off. Members of the
Department of Public Safety had an
opportunity to enter their best
Chili into the contest which would
be tested by a panel of
distinguished judges. The chili
contestants were rated in three
different categories: aroma,
appearance and taste. The
contestants for this year’s event
were David Sarkozi, Paul Mauro,
Julieanne Mason, Matthew Wilson and
the team of Brandon Whitfield and
Michele Eiben. The winning chili was
made by Matthew Wilson.
“What a great way to bring folks
together for the holiday season,”
commented Lieutenant Dina Gonzales.
Many members of the Department of
Public Safety and the campus
community gathered to celebrate.
