IMPROVE YOUR ONLINE TEACHING SKILLS

At the University of Houston College of Education, we help students adapt to the evolving educational landscape. We offer four certificate programs that provide the latest instructional strategies and tools to enhance teaching — whether you work in K–12, higher education, health care or business. These innovative programs typically can be completed in one to two semesters. No GRE required.

CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS

    Designing and Developing Educational Graphics

    This program helps educators use visual communication to improve classroom engagement and comprehension. Students learn the process of creating educational graphics, from concept to publication. Fully online or hybrid. (NOT currently accepting applications)

    Multimedia

    Students learn to use audio, visual and digital media to introduce concepts and enhance learning in today’s multimedia environment. This program explores various modes of instructional storytelling. Fully online or hybrid.

    Online Teaching and Learning

    Students gain critical skills to teach online successfully based on the latest research and best practices. Learn to design engaging coursework, deliver content and evaluate learning through distance education. Fully online or hybrid.

    Integrating Innovative Technologies in Health Science Education

    This program is designed for health care workers involved in teaching or training. Students gain practical experience using digital tools to enhance teaching and learning among medical professionals. Fully online.
