General requirements for consideration for acceptance into graduate programs in NSM are:

1. submission of application for admission to graduate studies
2. submission of official transcripts from all institutions of higher education previously attended
3. submission of Graduate Record Examination Scores (some departments require or suggest submission of the score on an advanced subject matter area)
4. International applicants must submit a score of at least 550 on the TOEFL exam
