-  High pressures: molecules are attracted by nearby molecules,  lowering speeds and lessening force of its impact with the walls.
-  Low temperature has the same effect because it slows  the molecules and allows attractive forces to be more effective.
-  Values of PV/RT greater than ideal (>1) are due predominantly to molecular volume.
-  At normal pressures, the free volume is nearly  equal to the container volume.
-  As P increases, the free volume decreases, and  the volume of the gas molecules takes up  a greater proportion of the container volume.
-  At high P, the free volume is smaller than the  container volume (used as ìVî in PV/RT ratio).  -The actual free volume is less, so the ratio is   artificially high.
