About Unwind with Wellness
Unwind with Wellness is our semi-annual stress-free event held at the end of every Fall and Spring semester. Unwind with Wellness is one of our largest events and provides students with unique relaxation experiences, like chair massages, therapy pets, our relaxation station, Do It Yourself Projects, and live musical performances. Light refreshments are also provided.
Campus partners are also present to provide support for students during finals, including Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Dean of Students (DOS), Learning Advancements for Undergraduate Cougars of Houston (LAUNCH), Writing Center, SMART Cougars, and our campus dietitian.
By attending Unwind with Wellness, participants will be able to:
- Identify healthy ways to relieve stress and build positive coping skills.
- Recognize campus resources that can proactively and reactively support students when they are stressed.
