Unwind with Wellness on Wednesdays are free events held every Wednesday during the Fall and Spring semester. These events provide students with unique relaxation experiences, like chair massages, therapy pets, our relaxation station, Do It Yourself projects, and workshops.
Campus partners are also present to provide support for students during finals, including Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Dean of Students (DOS), Learning Advancements for Undergraduate Cougars of Houston (LAUNCH), Writing Center, SMART Cougars, and our campus dietitian.
By attending Unwind with Wellness on Wednesdays, participants will be able to:
- Identify healthy ways to relieve stress and build positive coping skills.
- Recognize campus resources that can proactively and reactively support students when they are stressed.

Each Wednesday, students are able to attend an event:
1st wednesday- 9/7, 10/5, 11/2
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
DIY- Project Changes Monthly (painting, stress balls, candle making, button making, etc.)
2nd Wednesday- 9/14, Skip 10/12 (Fresh Check Day Event), 11/9
Chair massage by Massage Therapist or Neck and Foot Massagers
3rd Wednesday- 9/21, 10/19, 11/16
4th Wednesday- 9/28, 10/26, Skip Thanksgiving week
