From Waalt
WAALT: the Wiki for the Anglo-American Legal Tradition Website WAALT is a project of the Anglo-American Legal Tradition (AALT) website of the University of Houston.

WAALT is a wiki site that shares research findings on a wide range of themes. After receiving an account, researchers can post relevant links to documents from AALT and elsewhere, then summarize, translate, and comment upon them.

WAALT's goals are

  • furthering the history of England and Wales
  • enabling the exploitation of TNA documents available on AALT and elsewhere
  • expanding the research community by providing a research purpose short of publication
  • lowering the cost of research by expanding online research capability
  • providing a collaborative model of research

Adding information requires an account. To receive an account, email elspethrosbrook@gmail.com. We aim to establish a very broad membership. Academics, students, independent researchers, and enthusiasts of all varieties are welcome. Receiving an account gives you an ability to post information but does not imply a commitment to do anything.
