Diamond Family Scholars Application Process

The Diamond Family Scholars Program will begin accepting applications December 15, 2020 for admission to the program for August 2021 (Academic Year 2021-2022). The following steps are required for application to the Diamond Family Scholars Program:

1. Apply for admission at the University of Houston.
2. Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
3. Upon acceptance to the University of Houston, you may complete the Diamond Family Scholars Program Application to determine eligibility and acceptance into the program.
4. Be invited for an interview by Program Director for further consideration of application
5. Be notified of acceptance into the program and receive next steps from Program Director
