La’Quinta is a graduate student at the University of Houston’s College of Education and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Counseling. She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2017. Prior, she worked at UL-Lafayette’s Enrollment Office providing pre-college preparation, transition, and support services to students and faculty. Also, La’Quinta has worked for various non-profit organizations in Louisiana, providing advocacy services through community outreach, educational and life skill programs to diverse youth.

She is excited about this opportunity to serve the diverse University of Houston population of students by supporting them through a variety of services, including resume assistance, career exploration, interview and job search preparation, and much more. La’Quinta looks forward to empowering all students to reach their career goals.
