Carlos Castro
Carlos Castro is a Principal Outposts Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS), responsible for helping companies build truly consistent hybrid experiences using AWS Outposts. Prior to AWS, he was a Technical Solutions Architect at Cisco. He holds multiple industry certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional and Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), and has 14 years of industry experience. He is passionate about helping companies solve complex business problems by using technology. |

Shaun Baker
Shaun Baker currently serves as Senior Manager - Solutions Architecture for Amazon Web Services (AWS) and works in support of Royal Dutch Shell where he leads a team of six Solution Architects. Among other roles, Shaun has also served as Director and Chief Enterprise Architect for BP’s Data and Digital Platforms. In this role Shaun led Strategy and Architecture for AWS, the journey to hybrid cloud for the support of austere environments, the data fabric, data lakes and evolution to a microservice based organization. Shaun holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the US Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Indiana University. |

He has a MS in Petroleum Engineering from UT Austin and previously worked with Halliburton for more than a decade where he built a team that built Digital Oilfield solutions for Energy majors globally. |
