Boards of Advisors
Outside Leaders Guiding the College of Technology
Overview
Business, community and technical leaders from the Houston area and across the United States generously provide free advice and guidance for the various programs within the College of Technology. These allow programs in the College of Technology to stay closely allied with the real needs of the business and technical communities that they serve.
In addition to the Dean's Advisory Board, which advises the College of Technology as a whole, advisory boards exist for the various programs within the College of Technology.
- The Construction Management board provides advice for the Construction Management program.
- The Engineering Technology boards provide advice for Computer Engineering and Electrical Power, and Mechanical Engineering Technology programs.
- The Human Development and Consumer Sciences boards provide advice for Foresight, Human Resources Development, and Retailing and Consumer Science programs.
- The Information and Logistics Technology boards provide guidance for the Digital Media, Organizational Leadership & Supervision, Project Management, and Supply Chain & Logistics Technology programs.
