Technology Project Management Professor Recognized Before World Conference on Quality and Improvement

Dr. Jamison V. Kovach has been elected as a Fellow of the American Society for Quality (ASQ).  She and seven others were recognized at the 2019 World Conference on Quality and Improvement in Fort Worth, TX on May 20-22, held at the Fort Worth Convention Center Arena. This honor is given to those who make outstanding contributions to quality engineering management.  ASQ has 650 active Fellows and membership is awarded to those who have at least 15 years of experience, are sponsored by peers, endorsed by their ASachieve requirements across six professional categories, and have been an ASQ Senior member for 5 years or more.

Dr. Kovach served as chair of the technical program committee for the conference and introduced keynote speaker Patrick Schwerdtfeger, a business futurist specializing in technology trends including artificial intelligence, big data and block chain.  She has served as the editor for Lean Six Sigma Review, an ASQ publication, since January 2019 and will do so for three years.
