Director of Advancement
Margarita, a native Houstonian and STEM-education enthusiast, joined the University of Houston in December 2015, as a development officer at the Cullen College of Engineering and soon thereafter as director of advancement at the College of Technology. Frinsco has more than 13 years of experience in philanthropy. Before joining the University of Houston, she held various roles at AIDS Foundation Houston, the Center for Houston Future and ARAMARK Sports and Entertainment. At the University of Houston, Frinsco leads philanthropic efforts at the College of Technology securing gifts at the $25,000 level and higher and visits alumni and donors across Texas and the nation. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in communication from the University of St. Thomas and is currently pursuing her masters of business administration from the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston.
College Events Coordinator
Jennifer has a passion for the culinary arts, planning events, and creating a "Wow" experience for her guests! Jennifer is a second generation Coog and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the Conrad N. Hilton College at the University of Houston. She has been in the hospitality industry since she was 15 having first worked at a local BBQ restaurant in her hometown of Tomball. Before returning to her alma mater she previously planned events for Golfcrest Country Club, The Palm Restaurant, and Smith & Wollensky Steakhouse. Jennifer is proud to be a native Houstonian and when not working she enjoys reading, traveling, cooking classes, going to UH and Texans Football Games, and spending time with family and friends.
