First Year Technology Experience (FYTE)
First Year Technology Experience Workshops are college academic success seminars that cover a variety of topics and areas to assist students through their transition to college and maximizing their undergraduate experience at the University of Houston.
The general goals are to support your academic performance, enhance your College of Technology experience, and complete your academic endeavors in a timely manner towards a worthwhile career. These workshops will prove to be beneficial in how to navigate the college process and any associated resources within your studies and prioritizing your academic mindsets to create a strong foundation in studying habits while also engaging with professors/staff within your major and providing support for academic growth.
There are also incentive prizes for attending multiple workshops throughout the school year.
