The College of Technology offers an effective and practical education that prepares students for today's world of technology and business. Part of this emphasis extends to providing career assistance through advising and providing information about industry trends in industry, salaries and compensation, interview techniques, networking ideas. The College of Technology hosts a career fair each semester and welcomes any business or organization to explore the benefits of recruiting our students.

Students that have declared a major within the College of Technology have access to additional career counseling services, technology-based job opportunities, networking events, and access to TechConnect, the College of Technology’s career management system.

The University of Houston Career Services offices are decentralized. All University of Houston students (regardless of major) are welcome to receive services through the University Career Services (UCS).
