The University of Houston Marine Technology Society Student Chapter is working to lead the way in solving global issues by enhancing the dissemination of marine technology information with related educational programs. We will explore the ocean world with projects that pertain to ROVs, robotics, mechanical ocean tools and offshore oil industry inspection designs. The Goal is to solve today's problems with the views of a new technological generation.

• Apply for scholarships – MTS conducts annual scholarship competitions for high school, undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a degree in marine sciences or technologies
• Interact and network with the international marine technology community
• Participate in professional development opportunities provided by fellow society members
• Present your research at one of the many annual MTS sponsored conferences and events
