Student Affairs
A.D. Bruce Religion Center Policy Board
Advises and makes recommendations on policies concerning the A.D. Bruce Religion Center.
Children's Learning Centers Advisory Board
Advises and makes recommendations regarding the Children's Learning Centers.
Justin Dart, Jr. Student Accessibility Center
Health Center Policy Board
Advises the administration regarding policies, guidelines, and services concerning the UH Health Center.
Campus Recreation Advisory Board
Reviews and recommends policies and services regarding the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center.
Substance Abuse Prevention and Education Committee
Serves to enforce university policies regarding violations of Student Life (non-academic) policies.
Student Housing & Residential Life Advisory Committee
Advises and makes recommendations to the Student Housing & Residential Life department regarding the housing policies, rates, and services.
Center for Student Media Advisory Committee
Advises and makes policy recommendations regarding student publications.
Counseling and Psychological Services Advisory Committee
This committee shall serve in an advisory capacity to the Director of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at the University of Houston in regards to services and support, strategic initiatives, and campus issues related to mental health.
Women and Gender Resource Center Advisory Board
Academic Affairs
Graduate and Professional Studies Advisory Committee
Advises and makes recommendations regarding Graduate and Professional academic programs and students.
International Student Advisory Committee
Reviews policies and services regarding international students and makes recommendations to the Office of International Students and Scholar Services.
Library Advisory Committee
Advises UH Libraries in setting resource allocation priorities and reviewing holding inventories.
Faculty Senate Undergraduate Committee
Charged with the responsibility of advising the Office of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost about the qualitative development of undergraduate programs and activities, recommending changes in existing policies or suggesting the need for new ones, and approving new courses, course changes, and/or deletions for final approval by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
Administration and Finance
Bookstore Advisory Committee
The Bookstore Advisory Committee reviews issues/concerns regarding the University Bookstore. The committee also makes policy recommendations.
Campus Facilities Planning Committee
Cullen Performance Hall Advisory Committee
Advises and makes recommendations to the policies concerning the Cullen Performance Hall pertaining to programming, booking procedures, rates for organizations and departments, and quality.
Emergency Planning Committee
The Emergency Planning Committee serves in an advisory capacity to UH administrators in regards to the Emergency Operations of UH.
Food Services Advisory Committee
Advises and makes recommendations to Auxiliary and Dining Services regarding the University’s retail, residential food and beverage, and vending services.
Scholarships and Financial Aid Advisory Committee
The committee shall work with constituents in a proactive way to review operational plans, application and office processes, customer service issues, and other issues that affect the satisfaction and quality of the office operations.
Safety and Security Advisory Committee
Advises the UH Department of Public Safety on matters related to police activities and works closely with the UH Chief of Police to promote policies that will support a safe and secure campus.
Transportation and Parking Advisory Committee
Works with the Parking and Transportation department regarding parking operations, services, and policies.
Information Technology Advisory Committee
Cougar Card Advisory Committee
The Cougar Card Advisory Committee with ensure there is support for future Cougar Card operational plans, new program initiatives, and other concerns which involve customer satisfaction, quality, and the provision of related services.
Hearing and Review Boards
Activities Funding Board
The Activities Funding Board allocates a portion of the student service fee allotted for activities funding.
Student Fee Advisory Committee
SFAC makes recommendations to the Chancellor/President regarding the annual allocation of student fees.
University Hearing Board
The University Hearing Board is responsible for hearing cases concerning alleged violations of the UH Student Handbook and/or disciplinary policies by members of the student body.
Teaching Excellence Awards Committee
Advises the Provost on evaluation and selection of candidates for the teaching excellence awards.

Serves to implement policies, programs, and services for a more sustainable and eco-friendly UH.
