This dynamic talk will engage with what it means to use data to resist carceral logics and dream of a future that is otherwise.

About the Speaker

Ariel Ludwig recently received her doctoral degree in Virginia Tech’s Science and Technology in Society (STS) department. Prior to this, she completed her masters of public health at Yale University. Her research primarily focuses on the intersection of the criminal justice system and public health.

The event will also feature discussions with community partners on their approaches to carceral data.
