Global Initiatives
Overview
Global Initiatives seeks to provide UH students with opportunties to develop global knowledge and skills and increase global engagement by:
- Administrating the Global Citizens Credential Program and Peace Corps Prep Program
- Hosting and sponsoring on-campus global and multicultural events (such as International Education Week)
- Developing relationships and collaborating with campus and community partners on global initiatives

Multicultural Event Sponsorship
Each year, Global Initiatives sponsors at least three community or campus events. Interested groups can submit a sponsorship proposal to request funding for any event that has a clear global, cross-cultural, or multicultural theme and can demonstrate the value added to the UH community (students, staff, and/or faculty).
