The University of Houston promotion and tenure process is an electronic process using a SharePoint site. For confidentiality and security purposes, access to the Site is limited to specific time periods and accessible only by current year candidates and reviewers.

College-Specific Guidelines
Each college maintains specific guidelines related to their promotion and tenure processes. Please find those guidelines by college below:

SharePoint Access Information
College P&T representatives receive access at the start of the yearly process. Candidates are given access after the college representative has created the candidate's electronic profile (Face Sheet). The candidate will receive access notification by email.
Department/College representatives receive access after the candidate’s Face Sheet is created and upon request from the College P&T representative(s) and will receive access notification by email.
Once the review process begins, college/departmental committee members will be given access at the request of the College P&T representative(s) and will receive access notification by email.
Training Information
Candidates, P&T representatives at the college and department level, and reviewers may use the User Guide to learn how to access, upload and navigate the P&T site. There is also scheduled training from May-September. For a list of dates/times of scheduled training, please email Lisa Farr at Lvfarr@uh.edu.
