Mastering the Craft of Teaching: Active Learning?

Active Learning in the Classroom Questions – March 2022

1.How do you define ‘Active Learning’? What goals do you define for your students when using AL in the classroom?

2.What AL strategies or activities are used in your classroom? Where do your AL ideas come from? Novel approaches? Published educational approaches? Colleagues? Conferences? Repositories (online publisher platforms, case studies sites, etc.)?

3.Are you doing AL in small classrooms, large classrooms or both?

4.Do you flip your class? Is it partial or fully flipped classroom model?
