Seamus “Shay” Curran, associate professor of physics and director of the Institute for NanoEnergy at the University of Houston, was a guest on the local Fox affiliate’s FOX RAD Hurricane Briefing covering the use of solar power.
Curran brought the “Storm Cell” solar power generator to the television station and explained how by next year these generators could be used to provide power to homeowners experiencing power loss after a hurricane.
