An increasingly popular iPhone application developed by a University of Houston computer science professor was featured in a Houston television news report. Walk'n'Play, a free app devised by Ioannis Pavlidis and his team of researchers at UH's Computational Physiology Lab, allows users to keep track of their physical activity and compete against other users. They can watch the calories burn off in real time as they go about their daily walking.
