This year we have multiple speakers that will present at the event. Ms. Caitlin McNeil, of UCS, will give a presentation at 3:00pm about services/opportunities for NSM majors offered by her department. She will also briefly talk about our Math Career Prep Workshop program. Students and staff of teachHOUSTON will present at 3:20pm and discuss the program, academic resources and funding it has to offer. For a brief description of the program, please visit this link. At 3:40pm Manuel Lopez, a Software Developer at iOFFICE Corporation, will discuss how mathematics influenced his career path. Manuel is an alumnus of the University of Houston, having received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Department of Mathematics.
