Department Initiates Student Research Funding Program

Three Students Receive Funding Awards for Fall 2021

The Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences (EAS) started a new program this semester for students to apply for research funding directly, independent of their advisors.

Fall 2021 recipients of the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences Student Research Funding Program (from left): Claire Ong, Xiaolong Wei and Nicole Arellano.

Three students were recognized for their excellent proposals and received funding.

Nicole Arellano (working with Dr. Emily Beverly)
