Hermann Park Conservancy Kite Festival

Sunday, March 26, 2023

10:00 am - 3:00 pm

The Hermann Park Conservancy Volunteering is an event aimed at maintaining one of Houston’s most iconic and popular parks. The garden has a wide variety of flora and flowers and even has a community garden to grow produce for the Houston Community. Memorial Park holds numerous events and has lots of works for volunteers to do.

Hermann Park Conservancy’s Kite Festival, presented by Kirkland & Ellis, will bring a day full of fun and, of course, kite-flying to Hermann Park. Activities include live music, a DJ, interactive games and activities, face painting and more. It is truly a special day in Hermann Park with fellow Houstonians!

Volunteers will meet at SC South at 9:30 AM and depart at 9:40 AM and arrive at the event site at 10:00 AM, and volunteer until 3:00 PM. Please indicate on the sign up form if you can provide carpool- we always need volunteer drivers! After the event, volunteers will return to campus and be back by 3:20 PM.

Please register by 03/25/23 by 11:59 PM. To register, complete the Google Form and we will contact you with more information about the event.
