Nehemiah Center

Friday, October 28, 2022

3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

The Nehemiah Center’s mission is to provide assistance to low-income families who are invested in seeking a better future for their children through education, emotional wellness and spiritual enrichment. Volunteers for this event will be tutoring kids or playing on a playground with them.

This event will take place on October 28th from 3:00-6pm at 5015 Fannin St, Houston, TX 77004. Volunteers who need to carpool will be meeting at the student center south circle drive at 2:20pm where we will depart by 2:30pm. Volunteers driving to the event will park at the First Presbyterian Church at 5300 Main St, Houston, TX 77004 at the FPC North Lot.

The dress code is casual. The only strong recommendation is to wear comfortable shoes that you can be active in, just in case your child likes to move fast at times. Shorts must be only two inches above the knee and no sleeveless tops.
