Cougar Cupboard

The University of Houston’s Cougar Cupboard is in partnership with the Houston Food Bank’s Food for Change market network. The cupboard is available to all enrolled UH undergraduate or graduate students who may need access to additional food. Cougar Cupboard is located on the first floor of the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center (in UH Wellness), and is stocked full of fresh fruits and vegetables, frozen/refrigerated foods, and dry goods.
We will be assisting with deliveries arriving, as well as the set up and maintenance of Cougar Cupboard. Most tasks include inspecting donations, sorting, and rebagging food to be made available for the UH community.
We will be meeting at 11:00 AM at the Student Center South front desk. We’ll walk over to the Campus Rec and volunteer from 11:15 AM to 12:45 PM.
