Kids’ Meals

Monday, October 25, 2021

12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Since 2006, Kids’ Meals has been making and delivering free, healthy meals directly to the homes of hungry children. Since its inception, they have given more than 8 million free meals to food-insecure children in 42 Houston-area zip codes. Kids’ Meals is a first-responder to children ages 5 and under facing debilitating hunger due to extreme poverty.

We will be meeting at 11:45 am in front of the Student Center South by the Help Desk. We will be leaving the UH campus by 11:55 am.

Volunteers may be assigned to work in the kitchen, packing, food prepping, or helping around the facility.

Kids’ Meal requires volunteers to wear masks. They will be conducting temperature checks before entering the facility. They will have hand sanitizer available.

The volunteering event will be from 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm. We will be returning to campus by 3:00 pm latest.

You’ll receive a reminder email prior to the event containing more information, and if you have any questions, please contact Sandra Tzul at mvpce@central.uh.edu
