Houston Parks Board Prairie Planting

Volunteer at Thomas Bell Foster Park to gain hands-on experience in gardening. Together we will plant up the pocket prairie with native grasses and forbes (flowering plants).
To sign up, complete this google form AND the Houston Parks Board Waiver. You’ll receive a confirmation/reminder text prior to the event.
**Please indicate on the signup form if you can provide carpooling — drivers will get an extra volunteer hour!**
Volunteer Info:

Wear garden boots (or socks and closed-toe shoes), long pants, hat and weather-appropriate clothing.

Bring your own water, sunscreen, bug spray, and any item you think you may need when working outdoors.

Any tools needed will be provided.
Transportation Timeline:

Carpool and volunteer drivers will meet at SC South plaza 8:25 AM

Depart at 8:30 AM, arrive at the event site at 8:45 AM

After the event, carpoolers will depart around 12:10 PM
