Beauty’s Community Garden Volunteering

Beauty’s Community Garden provides a fresh approach to healthy living through urban gardening. Their mission is to close the gap on food inequities and achieve a community culture of health and well-being.
We will be doing general garden maintenance such as planting, harvesting, and weeding which requires closed toed shoes. It might also be hot outside as so make sure to bring a cap or a bottle of water to stay hydrated, especially in this Houston weather.
Volunteers will meet at SC South at 8:30 AM and depart at 8:45 AM and arrive at the event site at 9:00 AM , and volunteer until 11:00 AM. Please indicate on the sign up form if you can provide carpool- we always need volunteer drivers! After the event, volunteers will return to campus and be back by 11:15 AM.
Please register by 2/17/23 by 11:59 PM. To register, complete the Google Form and we will contact you with more information about the event.
