Every year, the UH Health Family Care Center hosts a holiday effort for our patients, many of whom may struggle to provide gifts or holiday meals for their families. This year, we are hosting a donation drive called "Giving Season" where you will have the opportunity to create care package gift bags for the patients we see in December! There are still a few days left to pick up a bag and spread some joy this year to our patients!
Gift bags can be picked up and dropped off at the Family Care Center or the College of Medicine (Dean’s Office). Each gift bag has a list of six items attached; we ask that you purchase 4 of the 6 items and check off what has been purchased before returning to the drop-box.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Rebecca Negri.
Join us on Monday, December 1st from 3 p.m. - 4 p.m. in TBL 2100 for an important town hall. Dean McCullers and Vice Dean Scott will open the session with key updates you won’t want to miss, followed by additional insights from faculty on accreditation and the current state of the college. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and receive real-time answers. We hope to see you there!
Mark your calendars! UH Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine will host its annual holiday appreciation luncheon on Tuesday, December 2.

UH Health Family Care Center invites students, staff, and faculty to submit original photos and digital art for display within our clinic. Celebrate the role of art in supporting health and wellness by providing a platform for community artists to share their vision of healing, while enhancing our clinic spaces with works that bring peace, reflection, and encouragement to those we serve. Selected pieces will be displayed throughout the clinic, allowing patients and visitors to experience the uplifting impact of art during their care journey. Submissions can be made here through Friday, December 12. For any questions, please email FCCArt@uh.edu.
