Essay Question 1: Alyssa Parks, Leadership Scholarship

Please include information about the leadership skills that you have gained as a result of these experiences and training. Please write an essay on “The benefits of being LGBTQ” - Many times, the LGBTQ community focuses on negative issues and problems that arise, so in this essay please explore the joys, advantages, wonders and positive benefits of being a member of this fabulous community. (This is not just a coming out story). Essays will be judged on relevance to the topic, style, content, and quality of writing.

Please tell us something unique about yourself and why you feel you should be a recipient of a scholarship.
