Yuan-ju Liu
Violin

Originally from Taiwan, Yuan-ju Liu has been playing music since she was 5 years old. Throughout middle school and high school, she majored in violin in a special musical program in Taiwan. During that time, she had served as concertmaster in the school orchestra and also formed a quartet that won price in the national competition in 2013. Currently doing her undergraduate study for violin performance in Eastman School of Music, she is studying with Robin Scott now. As an active performer in Eastman, she not only performs with lots of chamber groups and orchestras, she also participates in Jazz concerts, film music ensemble and premieres of new musics and compositions as well.
