Travis began playing cello through the public school music program in Salem Oregon at age 10. He has had the opportunity to participate in a variety of ensembles and summer music programs such as the All Northwest Orchestra, Marrowstone Music Festival, and Meadowmount School of Music. Travis has also had the honor of playing in master classes for artists such as Claus Kannigiesser, Thomas Mesa, and Harriet Krijhg. After this summer, Travis will be a freshman at the Jacobs School of Music where he will study with Eric Kim. His former teachers include Noah Seitz, Jonathan Koh, and Marilyn DeOliveira.
